On its own, I think this book is super lacking. As a whole series, it's better - but not great. Roth is trying to ride the coat tails of the dystopia lust. However, the idea is one that I definitely admire. She had her moments of good and surprises. I think Roth just has a hard time with endings. And the actual journey. (She's got the point A and point B down.) I think she tried too hard to make it all wrapped up in a bow. Three stars is for the whole series.
